Dresden is indeed bealutiful, although it's a bit like Disneyland. Almost nothing is real because it was burned away in the firestorm after the bombing in WWII.

I now know that I will be in France last week of July/first 10 days of August. Think of me please Bob! I can't possibly get to the Hop Farm or those early July German shows.

Maybe there´s a small chance for me to come to Bonn, but since I have to work until 6pm I just will make it to the beginning of the show. So I guess I must buy the seating ticket. Looking at old seating charts, it seems that the seats are left of the stage, is that so? Any idea if it´s a fair position? btw, I hate not being front of stage :-p

Dijon would be good. But it's too close from Lyon I guess. What about Colmar during the wine fair ? Neil Young did an amazing concert there in 2008. I'd love to go back, the venue is really great.

I think she is saying she's there on a non-Bob holiday, hoping he'll happen to be there too.

I'm sorry, Eric! I was just doing my usual ramblings and wishful thinking. I'll be in the Burgundy region this summer but don't know where the Bob will be yet, maybe at some of the Spanish venues or in Italy. Those motorways are pretty good though, aren't they? I am not used to chasing around Europe though.

technically most places he's been to have already had established governments or at least have been properly defined as territories. i haven't seen him post any shows in the arctic or antarctica....

The Europe tour is looking very good. A lot of the festivals appear to be pretty small and spread out over a few weeks or longer. It looks like Bob will be the only act of the day for at least some of them - if not a lot. Montreux, Berlin and Bad Mergentheim look great!! I'm not sure about France or Spain but it seems to be shaping up into a great summer tour.

Well, let's recall what was initially reported back in early Nov of 2011.

Desh TV has invited the legendary musician, songwriter, producer, visual artist, poet, writer, director,and screenwriter to Bangladesh. It has been confirmed by Desh TV authorities that Bob Dylan has primarily accepted the invite and if everything goes according to plan, he will be in Bangladesh in 2012. Desh TV contacted Bob Dylan through his secretary, the primary invite was for him to come to Bangladesh in March 2012, however, he will be busy during that time. Hence, the date and time for his arrival in Bangladesh is yet to be confirmed.
 
There hasn't been a peep, that I know of, since this announcement. Unless he plans on heading east outta Europe, I don't see it happnin'. Doesn't mean it won't, just looks difficult to add between Europe and North America. I've written this one off. If someone has other info, please share.

Bayonne venue (bullring)

I really don't like that he will play festivals. Festivals is never the same thing as a real Dylan concert, sadly. Others might enjoy it more but I really hope he plays more concerts instead of festivals this summer.

If he does only festivals I hope he spices it up a bit this Summer and includes a few new or new older songs

Festivals might mean same old, same old regarding set lists, but let's hope for some fresh arrangements and a tight band that is allowed to venture out a bit.
