I know I know.... it was next year. :P
But it won't be because he will tour the big cities with the new record.

And yes, I can hardly wait. :D

So much so that I dreamed there was one like that in Germany. It was a cool but confusing dream - I'd never heard of some of those places.

I do.... I know I'm incredibly lucky to be alive at this time, in this part of the world, reasonably healthy, with the resources necessary to do what I live best.

God I'm excited about this. I haven't seen Dylan since October of 2010. I'm definitely going to the Fort Wayne and Indianapolis shows. This might have been answered before, but the website for the Parkview field just has Bob Dylan listed as playing staring at 8. Is Willie Nelson sitting this out? Why would Dylan play minor park baseball fields by himself? I mean I don't care cause that means longer set lists. I can't wait.

They might still add a support? When he toured with Knopfler last year, the official site failed to mention that for some time as well.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. God I love the planning and excitement that a new tour brings. Tentative version 1:

28th - Youngstown
29th - Johnstown
30th - off day
31st - Somewhere
1st - Big Flats

I wonder if your bosses take time off when they want to. It's not like it's a last minute event. Good luck to you. Remember, not many folks look back at their lives from their deathbed and wish they had worked even more.

i hear ya Barefoot.. but i have 2 more years (i hope) and i dont have to work on Maggies Farm no more.........

till then...i have to put my shoulder to the wheel to pay for these escapes to Bobdom.....these roadtrips are my only real holiday. I am really hoping this works out for me, for i have two of the best people to travel with.. and i met them at a bob concert in seattle some years ago. In fact, i just hooked up with them as i had taken my mother to see the King Tut exhibit a couple weeks ago. It was so good so see them again, and i know a roadtrip is something we all can use.. :D 8)

Do you have any vacation time coming to you? Like barefoot said, it's not like your asking for time off 2 days before the event.

I'm planning on going to the show in Johnstown . That is NOT a ballpark show.
It is a very old venue. I saw several shows there back in the 70's, including a then young Bruce Springsteen.

Good. I'm still a little burnt around the edges on the concept of Ballpark shows. Enjoyed 'em while they were there in those years, but probably attended too many in that there became a certain routine to them no matter where they were. Hard to describe. While liking Ballparks at the time I'm just ready for the next thing. Still haven't heard much about opening acts. I'd be for some strong local bands, switching openers around based on the region or locality.
