Day tickets on sale tomorrow... not as good a line up as 2010 but Patti Smith should be worth it... and Brucey!

If you buy a day ticket, surely there's nothing to stop you staying overnight and seeing all of the next day for free? I really want to see Suede on the Sunday as well.

The camping bit is outside the part with the stages are.. you have wrist bands, different colours for each day.. you could camp on the Saturday night and then just stay in the camping bit on the Sunday and listen to the music from a distance.. or try and sneak in somehow!? : )

Sneaking in might have to be a serious option. Times are hard. And the way I look at it is that I've already given this Vince Power bloke enough of my money by going to the Feis last year, he owes me free entry.

It seems like the kind of place you could sneak in. I know a lad who goes to festivals all over the country without a ticket or much money and always seems to get in.. I'm not sure how he does it.

From what I remember those bands they put on your arm are really flimsy and loose. The old trick of two people going in with two bands, one of them walking out with two bands, giving it to the one without a band and then both walk back in would work at Hop I reckon. I would be up for helping if I can! My friend seems to have thin hands and can usually slip those bands off and on easily enough. How big are you hands? Like you say, I don't feel guilty about doing stuff like that.. these people make enough money.. I'm sure Bob would have done that in his youth if he wanted to see someone play and he didn't have the money.. : )

Maybe I shouldn't be discussing this on a public forum! Someone from Hop might be reading : /

...He is from quite near Liverpool! How did you guess..?

Well I just presumed he must cut through the wire using his friend Stanley...

My hands are pretty small, so the wristband idea is feasible.

I'm pretty buzzed for this, just realised it's the first show of the leg as the dates currently stand. There's always something special about opening shows, even if this one is at a big festival and not at a tent in Cork where I saw my last opening show...

Remember lads, you're never alone with a Trev! Especially if he also brings his missus!

Aye Matt - I think I'll bring Bev - she's not overly keen on Dylan ... but she does really like meeting new people!
