How funny that there have been 63 views of this post and no replies?? I surely have not heard anything on tour dates, the Great Wall of Dylan sure is living up to its reputation of secrecy. Come on, throw us a bone here. Just let us know he lives!!!

any day now ...

I read something today at Dylan Pool:

Dylan Won't Attend Critic's Prize Fest

1 hour, 53 minutes ago

Add to My Yahoo! Entertainment - AP Music

NEW YORK - Bob Dylan (news), whose memoir "Chronicles, Vol. I" is nominated for a National Book Critics Circle prize, will likely be too busy with his day job to attend the March 18 ceremony.

"Bob Dylan is honored by the NBCC nomination, however, he'll be on a concert tour in March," Simon & Schuster spokeswoman Victoria Meyer said Tuesday. Meyer added that the publisher would "work with his office to see if there's any way he can come to the NBCC ceremony."

I just hope that NYC is included on spring tour. It would be nice if Bob would play a smaller venue like the beacon. unfortunately, ABB is camped out there for the annual march madness run.

There is always Hammerstein or Roseland. Would love for him to come back to Hammerstein. Ecspecially with Merle Haggard, what happened to Carol Wonderland? Maybe he will go back to the Chance with Merle. Wouldn't that be GREAT

spoke with my brother on the left coast and he anticipates a midwest/southern swing. that means the big apple is left out in the cold. it sure is cold here.

This was just in my inbox:

Bob Dylan and his band will tour the United States in March and April as part of "The Bob Dylan Show," also featuring Merle Haggard and the Strangers and Amos Lee.

"The Bob Dylan Show" eh? Soundsl ike some 70s sitcom spin off experience.

Andy

Yeah, you are right it does sound like some traveling mistrel show, maybe they will be selling snake oil, cures what ails ya

While, I am extremely, more than words can say disappointed, it does look like he is moving east. Come to New York, Bobbie, the city so nice they named it twice. Who loves ya??

As part of the "show" I expect Bob will do a couple tunes with Haggard. Maybe Okee From Muskogee.

In '99 Bob did some with Paul Simon:
The Sound Of Silence (Bob on harp)
I Walk The Line/Blue Moon Of Kentucky
Knockin' On Heaven's Door
