Post subject:  Bob on Creativity...and Hoagy Carmichael

My name is David McDonald, and I am doing a series that we're about to pitch to PBS called "The Mystery of Creativity," about the connections between creativity and spirituality.

Despite having called himself "a song and dance man," Bob has long been interested in the mystical aspects of his own creativity. While listening to one of his radio shows, I heard him talking about Hoagy Carmichael and Hoagy's writing of the song "Stardust," which he thought of as a sort of cosmic accident.

That said, I decided to take the audio from that show and mix it up with some imagery, my interpretation of what Bob was saying that day. Take a look and tell me what you think...it's already gotten some 18,000 hits on YouTube, so it seems that people relate to what he was talking about.
