Waiting for it to get hotter, it's already pretty hot --
then Bob is coming to California for 4 shows in August.

In the meantime, anyone else revisiting Theme Times?
Lately I've listened to Summer, Colors and Dreams.

After about the 3rd time with each, I find myself fast
forwarding through Bob talk to get to a certain song ---
I feel very guilty when I do that.

I've been doing the opposite - jumping over the music - as I've been transcribing, Mr. D.'s commentary. It makes me feel guilty too. but it's interesting to see what I've missed listening the second time around.

I've been playing them over on their anniversary dates. I listen to Season 1's Wednesday shows faithfully every Sunday. But I can't wait till October when I'll get to 3 show per week! Yesterday was Rich Man, Poor Man, a killer show. On first hearing I was really only interested in Bob's commentary. I guess the whole concept of hearing "Garbo talk" was just too amazing. This time I'm much more interested in the music, especially now that I know something about who these performers are and what they mean to Bob. It's also fascinating to hear Bob relax and grow into the role. I do love this show. :D

That is Exactly how I felt every week for the entire run of the show.

When something's coming up from Bob that I want to share w/ whoever
is there I get all amped up, like a little kid, it's kind of almost embarrassing.
But not enough to make me think twice-- :D

I saw that transcribing project on your site; I transcribed one.
Then he goes into Spanish on me.....I had to get a translator, too.
Hats off & I salute you**
