Is it possible for some computer expert to post the joint version of "War" in two parts, so it can go on two CDs? If possible, please cut after the Joe Tex song (right after Dylan says "Faster than you can say Batman and Robin") so StewArt's cover information will be fitting! I would appriciate it immensely...

Thanks,

CS

An alternative approach would be to DL the archive version which usually opens with seperate files for each song and bobtalk. It can then be divided as you wish. If I remember correctly the link from Croz is "archive". Hope this is helpful....
Also, alternative art is available from charlespoet via Hunger City:

Thanks! I have already considered that, and I think I'm gonna do it... It's just that for some idiosyncratic reasons I really appreciate the show as a single mp3 - it emphasizes that it's not simply a playlist you can pick and choose from, that the continuity is there for a reason, that the sum is more important than the parts... I realize this may sound weird to some of you!

Doesn't sound wierd to me at all. I have prefered blinwillie's "joint version". In this case, when I saw what was happening, I down loaded charlespoet's torrent and after conversion split it to use his art. I'm fairly sure the archive link from blindwillie and from Croz will work for what you want. A bit more trouble, but....

When I track it I pretty much oblidge the breaks in the wave meaning I don't just track it willy nilly and personally I think the show really centers around the songs and not the Bob talk which I am guessing but do believe is how Bob would want it. Either way I understand what you are saying about the compelte whole untouched wave but if you listen to what I capture in let's say Foobar on the computer or burn it with a burning program that removes all gaps the show is completely seamless as I'm sure tbuick's is though I think that is way too many tracks.
