Earlier this year, sometime after Lee Abrams left XM in April, he did an interview with a female friend who subsequently published it on her blog. During the course of the interview, Abrams was asked about Dylan and TTRH and replied with a non sequitur, to the effect that Dylan was "a very angry man." Later he was asked if he had even met Dylan during the course of the TTRH negotiations and replied that he was under a non-disclosure agreement.

I'm usually pretty good about bookmarking and or rediscovering stuff on the Web, but damned if I can find this interview. Anyone remember it and have a link?

I can't seem to dig it out by means of Google right now.

I wonder what Abrams meant by that... Would he be refering to Dylan's "angry voice of protest" back in the 60s, or did he have more current incidents in mind?

 Sometimes I need to ask the question to answer the question. I found it, although I had the quote wrong (which of course why I wanted to verify it. It was from a January 29th 2008 interview on the "chickerboomer" blog...

http://chickaboomer.blogspot.com/2008/0 ... brams.html

The quote is:

C: What is Bob Dylan like?
Lee: Well, he's very much serious. Nobody gets close to him.
C: Did you get close to him?
Lee: No. I dealt mostly with his business manager and producer. Very closed. I'm sort in the circle a little bit - he's very tight, mysterious, and hidden away. He can be in a real bad mood. The times I've met him he's been the nicest. But he protects himself. He does things on his terms.
C: He always did things on his terms.
Lee: Like the radio show. he has complete control otherwise he wouldn't do it.
C: You guys paying him alot?
Lee: (hesitates) Ah, yeah. We have a nondisclosure agreement.
