Interesting! Yeah, "Are You Washed in the Blood" is really Southern gospel at its best. I seem to remember Johnny Cash's mentioning that it was one of his favorite songs too - I believe his older brother Jack (who died at 14) used to sing it. As did the Louvin Brothers.
