All my stations just updated due to the merger, and "Deep Tracks" is now on Sirius Channell 16!

I'm totally psyched!!!

I don't have one?...

A litte after Midnight, on my Sirius Radio it said "Updating Channels", and all the sudden we have a bunch of XM Stations Now, including "Deep Tracks" on channel 16 which airs "Theme Time Radio Hour".

I'm Psyched.

Only thing I can show to prove anything is here:

http://www.xmradio.com/onxm/lineup.xmc

^^^XM Listing all their changes due to the Channel Additions and Cuts that happened last night. I don't have one of those for Sirius yet to show unfortunately. But I can assure you, Bob and "Theme Time..." is now on Sirius Satelite Radio. :)

If you are refering to it airing for 24 hours on on what used to be "XM2" XM Exclusives, I believe that channel is no longer in existence.

It will now Air on "Deep Tracks" from what what I understand? I could be wrong though.

Just found this. Maybe it's useful to anybody.

From my Dreamtime post...

via a SIRIUS XM Radio Press announcement:

Quote:
Effective immediately [November 12, 2008], and for the first time, XM subscribers will hear SIRIUS' dynamic and exclusive music, news, talk, sports and comedy shows and channels, and SIRIUS subscribers will have access to XM's equally diverse and unique content
.

According to the SIRIUS page here, TTRH will be airing on SIRIUS Channel 16 (Deep Tracks) Mondays 8 pm ET, Wednesdays 11 am ET, Thursdays 12 am ET, and Sundays 8 am ET.

As of 8 am Wednesday, November 12 the TTRH page on XM remains unchanged, and the Deep Tracks page shows the Wednesday air date to have moved ahead an hour to 11 am, paralleling the SIRIUS air time.

XMX Channel 2 - which aired TTRH all day on Wednesdays, appears to have been removed from the XM channel lineup.

It's unclear whether the SIRIUS Monday show at 8 PM will be a rerun from the previous week, although that's likely.

Well, it was a sad day for me as I hopped into the car this morning for my long day of driving to discover that XM 2 has disappeared!!! The listening schedule that I downloaded off the XM website has so few listening times when i am available. Maybe we can petition XM to bring back channel 2.

I'm with you geraniumkiss. That was a highlight of Wednesdays for me. I actually work for a living and have a hard time catching the show at all the other random hours. TTRH is one of the main reasons I got satellite. I may be rethinking it unless they do an all day thing. Why would they change that?? I can understand the duplication in other stations, but not that.

I've already called and registered a complaint with XM. I would suggest more of us do that.

Do we think the merger messed up blindwilly? Not being impatient, willy, you're just always so prompt. Maybe you're on vacation :D
