I just finished listening to the current show - Baseball - on Deep Tracks, and they edited out the "theme next week will be" section.

Incidentally, as far as I can tell, the only "official" announcement XM has made to date on Season 3 is this blurb on the XMX page...

Quote:
A new season of Bob Dylan's exclusive series begins next week, with more of his own brand of radio with dreams, themes, and schemes. Today, hear two shows from the first two seasons of Theme Time, this time about Luck and Dreams.
Which weirds me out no little. No press release, nothing - not even the XMX blurb - on the "official" XM TTRH page. It makes you wonder what's going on. Without Lee Abrams banging the drum about Mr. D. and TTRH does anyone at XM or Sirius care about TTRH's estimated 2 million listeners?

Yeah, doesn't seem like it. Not good.

I'd love to take over for Lee - I'll just send off a quick email to Bob right now, since we know he reads them all, :D to alert him how much his show & listeners need my help!

I'd hate to be proved right but I'm not holding my breath that Theme Time will be back next week. By this time last year there was already a lot of publicity and a list of some of the themes for the year.

Got my fingers crossed it does start - I've missed it

I see the XMX October schedule suggests a new Season 3 show for each of the coming Wednesdays - including a new Halloween special perhaps?

More importantly, who is going to take up Picasso's mantle on maintaining the sticky-directories at the top of this page starting tomorrow? Yet another reminder of how he will be missed. :(
