The news about Season 3 start is not as thrilling as it would have been with him.
Listening yesterday to the Heat show & for some reason the song
that goes: You set my soul on fire.....
I just think about him a lot
when I listen to Theme Time now.

Very sad

& the shortening of this forum is a much bigger loss to me now...would like
to read his posts, look at his lists.....but like him, they are gone.

I hope Bob does an "Art" show this season and plays Paul McCartney's "Drink To Me", about celebrating the life and last words of Picasso... then we could all sit around and wonder if Bob was paying tribute to one of Theme Time's most devoted archivists.

Very sad to here that.
He was a valuable member of this community.
Condolences to his family.
He just went ahead, we'll all have to follow sooner or later.
Cheers, Picasso.

I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better, but I'm sorry to hear of his passing, condolences to the family. This site won't be the same without Picasso

Very sad news. Picasso's contributions are a necessary companion to TTRH. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Others have expressed my sentiments far better than I could, so I'll just add my deepest regrets and sympathy for his family.

Just wanted to keep this topic going a little longer. It's nice to remember our friends, even those online friends we might never have met, but with whom we shared time.

The thought occured to me; I wonder if it would be possible to dedicate this part of the discussions board as the Picasso Theme Time Radio Hour Forum. Is this something that others would find appropriate? There are already several "sticky" threads on the forum's front page, but thtis would be something more....visible. I will send a PM to Karl Eric with this idea.

Great idea, but can I suggest an adjustment - how about calling it Pierre Ponette's Theme Time Radio Hour forum? That way it's his real name and casual visitors won't be confused about the oddly titled Picasso version of Theme Time. And Pierre can be our host, which, maybe in a way he is.

Also, possibly friends and family of Pierre's that search his name up online to look for traces of his legacy will automatically find us and see how much he meant to this forum and all of us posters here.

Yes indeed!
What a beautiful idea and a great tribute, very nice to find this thread titled for Picasso here today, thanks to Karl Eric and to adamdean for this idea.

As for if it confuses people, a little confusion goes along with this place pretty well.

LOL! That really made me 'laugh out loud' Mudcake!!

Merci to Karl Erik for making this happen - everyone here I know (and those I don't know) appreciates the new name.

Picasso is somewhere else smiling and listening to Bob.....

I am way ashamed of myself for not checking in on this part of ER. I too would like to send my condolences to Picasso's family and most sincere sympathies. Many thanks for the enlightening and entertaining contributions from Picasso. The section so aptly named.
