I've emailed Karl Erik. I suspect that it is has something to do with the recent Forum updates. I'll add a reply once I've heard from Karl Erik.

Karl Erik has advised that the issue has been pushed up/down to his daughter - aka "Mad Cow" - who is in charge of all things Forumy. More when I hear more.

Moo,

It seems a mishap occured when setting up the forum after the upgrade - i.e., all posts not read in the last 100 days in TTRH were deleted. I will try to recover as much as possible from a backup made, but I can't make any promises as to how successful this will be, nor when I can find the time to do it. It involves some "manual labour".

We apologize for the inconvenience and will do our best to retrieve the missing parts.

Thank you so much for your answer, Mad Cow!
I hope you can make it!
For me, to have the missing threads back is very important
becouse
I believe that TTRH threads were "our voice" on Theme Time Radio Hour, with our suggestions and comments.

ocgypsy,
I am
and :( :( :(
as I said before, in my opinion, the Theme Time Radio Hour forum "was" the best document to show the dialog between us (simple ER posters) and Dylan.
If there is a way to bring them back...
but,
Mad Cow already said that it's something very hard to do, so I can just highlight the importance of that.

I third the motion about "missing TTRH" terribly, and am hoping that when we hit the 6-month mark of "no TTRH" in August we may get new shows - or at least news about when we can expect new shows. It'd be nice if they'd start it up a month earlier than the first two seasons.

I agree with your opinion too, Carolina, that the forum makes a nice document of TTRH fan impressions and opinions, and I hope Mad Cow will be able to restore its history. I still miss the old White Man's Stew TTRH forums that Croz unfortunately deleted in a funk after repeated attacks by spammers and trolls.

Email is bobdylan@xmradio.com. XM, incidentally, is soliciting listener input for new themes, or so they say here...

http://www.xmradio.com/onxm/channelpage.xmc?ch=2

Based on the XMX re-run schedule, it looks like the earliest Season 3 would begin is Wednesday, September 10th, but there's no official announcement of that. If Season 2 is an indicator, XM won't make the announcement until a week before the first show.

Both Sirius and XM have said at separate times that the merger - now in effect - would necessitate renegotiation of the independent talent contracts. Presumably if not already settled, that's underway now for TTRH.

Fwiw, Carolina, I've sent off an email to my Sony/BMG contacts noting our (that is, this Forum's, not the royal "we" ) severe disappointment in the lack of TTRH-related content on bobdylan.com. No response as of yet.
