I bought the new Norah Jones CD "Feels Like Home", but I am not satisfied with it. I am unable to rip it into iTunes without getting files that are full of unbearable noise 15 seconds into the track. Four of the track numbers are the same song and play for 1.30 and then skip on to the next track. If all copies of the disc are like this, I warn you against spending money on it, unlesss you plan to only listen to it directly from the plastic disc.

1 - Biteback Bob Dylan has finally completed the first part of his long-awaited memoirs. Dylan initially delivered 30,000 words, but his publishers, Simon & Schuster, understandably thought this a trifle short. The singer has now doubled the word count. The first of three volumes will relate his time in the early 1960s, traipsing around New York clubs, listening and then composing. - (Times online, subscription required.
